Couple: Bergen + Holden
Ahh, the North Cascades. An incredibly stunning mountain range in North Washington, close to the Canadian Border. I met Bergen and Holden in the North Cascades, near Mount Baker and North Cascade National Park. We met in a high mountain parking lot, and cooked burgers on the grill before hitting the trail – laughing and sharing stories, enjoying the views.
After dinner, we hit the trail for sunset and explored around the mountains – watching the sun set over the tall peaks over a few little alpine lakes. One of my favorite locations in Washington, this is an incredible spot for engagement photos and also for an elopement or intimate wedding in the Summer. As the evening became darker, Mount Baker turned the color of the sunset – a jaw dropping moment. We then hopped in the car and headed down to our campsite near the river for a cozy nights camping sleep – the perfect summer day!
